Muriel has a lovely fountain shape, composed of many thin culms which arch outwards to support a frothing mass of foliage above

Muriel bamboo began flowering a few years ago and thus dying off, but producing lots of seed

These gave an opportunity for new plants which will not flower again for maybe 100 years
